The given bar chart illustrates information regarding the quantity of electricty production and consumption in 2014 among the top ten countries (China,United States, Russia, Japan, India, Canada, France, Brazil, Germany and Korean Republic), units are represented in billion kWh.

Overall, it is clearly seen that, in 2014 China tops the chart as the biggest producer as well as the consumer of electricty, while Korean Republic ranks the last in this list. Except Germany all the other countries produce more current than consuming it.

Firstly, in terms of electricity production, China, United States and Russia are the top three countries in the list, with more than 5398,4099,1057 billion kWh of electricity respectively. While the least production was by Korean Republic (485.1 billion kWh).

Similarly, in view of consumption of electricity, every country follows the similar order, whereas Germany spends (582.5 billion kWh) more electricty than its production capacity (526.6 billion kWh).
