The bar chart gives information concerning the top ten countries, including China, United States, Russia, Japan, India, Canada, France, Brazil, Germany, and the Republic of Korea, for the amount of produced and consumed electricity in 2014.
Overall, two countries (China and the United States) were dominant in the production and consumption of electricity over the world. Also, most of the production of electricity surpassed consumption.
Looking more closely at the bar graph, China was the biggest production and consumption of electricity; these figures were 5,398 and 5,322 billion kWh, respectively. The United States, likewise, produced and consumed electricity relatively higher than other countries; these figures were 4,099 and 3,866 billion kWh, respectively, also were about fourfold of Russia's. These two countries' totaled the amount of production and consumption were twofold of totaled other countries' amount.
On the other hand, the productions of electricity in all countries except for Germany exceeded the consumption; only the consumption of electricity in this country outweighed the production.
