The bar chart illustrates the GDP components in the UK from 1992 to 2000 in terms of gross domestic product from IT and service industry. it is clear that GDP from IT industry has increase over the period of 8 years.

To begin, in 1992 service industry has 4 percent of GDP which low as compared to IT industry which has shown a gradual increase in the GDP percentage, whereas in 1996 the IT industry and service industry both had same average about 7 percent.

In contrast, the IT industry has highest rate of GDP about 15 percent in the year of 2000 whereas the service industry fall behind and rated 8 percent of total share in the GDP of UK.

To sum up, IT industry has the share of 15 percent whereas the service industry only had the 8 percent which was very low in terms of IT industry.
