The pie charts demonstrate the power produced in Germany and France from all the sources and renewables in the year 2009. Overall it can be see that Germany and France both countries had all types of sources and renewable resources for the generation of electricity.

In Addition, the First pie chart show the production of electricity in Germany and has compared all the sources and renewables, having conventional thermal sharing 59.6 percent and having nuclear and renewables of 23.0 percent and 17.4 percent. Whereas the renewables having biomass an wind giving 39.3 percent and 36.9 percent while hydroelectric and solar power produces 17.7 and 6.1 percent electricity.

In Contrast, the second pie chart illustrates the production of electricity in France having nuclear source of 76.0 percent, it is the highest production of electricity as compared to Germany, including conventional thermal and renewables at low production share of 10.3 percent and 13.7 percent. Whereas in terms of Renewables hydroelectric is producing more electricity as compared to Germany 80.5 percent. Including wind and biomass of 10.5 percent and 8.1 percent of production.

It is clear that France is producing more electricity with nuclear source whereas Germany uses conventional thermal for production of electricity.
