The map illustrates the city of Brandfield where the city planner have manifested to construct a new shopping mall for the local area and have to choose from proposed site S1 and S2. City of Brandfield is quite a big city having Industrial and housing estates including highway with railway and also having a big golf course area for the entertainment of the locals and requires shopping mall as we already know there are two location S1 which is located at the north side of the city near the housing Estate and S2 is located at the south side of the city in between the railway and highway road.
Overall, it can be seen that the S1 location is near by housing Estate and whereas S2 is located in Industrial area, comparatively S1 is the best location for the shopping mall because it is near city centre and close to housing estate which is quite a prime location for a shopping mall then a industrial area where S2 is located which is not a suitable location for the shopping mall.
In contrast, the city of brandfield planner might choose the S1 location due to availability of vast costumers and very convenient to reach the mall from all side of the city.
