Below is a map of the city of Brandfield. City planners have decided to build a new shopping mall for the area, and two sites, S1 and S2 have been proposed.

The map illustrates the potential locations of a new shopping mall for the city of Brandfield.

Overall, it is clear that the main difference between 2 proposed locations is S1 is sited near the river in the north while S2 is placed in the southeast of the city and quite far away from the river

Looking at the map to more detail, site s1 is situated near the housing estate and to the north of the city center. this means that the shopping mall would be within easy reach of a large number of potential customers. in addition, the transport system surrounding site s1, the road crossing the housing estate and the railway running along the north edge of the city center, is very convenient for people around this area.

While site s1 has been proposed to place near the residential area, site s2 has been planned to site close to the industrial estate in the southeast of the city, where is quite far from the residential area and Golf Course and Park area. However, people in other areas in the city still can reach the mall with the smart transport system, which spreads all the city.
