The bar graph demonstrates participants who took part in Olympics in four different years and line graph illustrates number of athletes who took part in Olympics in timespan of 88 years. The scale is in thousands.
Overall, it can be observed that number of participants in both gender were increased gradually. While, number of male participants were more compared to women although number of participants grew dramatically throughout the period.
To begin with, number of male participants around 3000 in year of 1924. Where, female participants were less or can be say that negligible. Furthermore, in 1952, male participants were inclined slowly around 4100 and female participants were also increased compared to former year, nearly 500. In 1984, male athletes grew dramatically nearly 5100 and woman participant were also doubled compared to previous year. Whereas, male athletes surged up roughly 6000 in 2012. Whereas, female participants were almost tripled compared the year 1952.
Moreover, there were nearly 3000 participants were took part in Olympics, in 1924, Which rise gradually up-to 5000 in 1952 and 6200 in 1984. Then after, athletes who participated were peaked up in 2012, to 10,000.
