The chart below gives information on the percentage of British people giving money to charity by age range for the year 1990 and 2010.

The graph makes a comparison of the proportion of people who give charitable money by different ages between 1990 and 2010 in Britain. In general, the percentages of aged 18 to 50 witnessed a decrease while the elders over 51 years rose slightly during the period.

Regarding the 18-aged group, accounted for the lowest figure of about 16 percent, it dropped significantly to approximately 7 percent. following this trend, the proportion of people who aged from 26 to 35 and 36 to 50, which started at more than 30 and 40 percent, they declined sharply to about 25 and 35 percent prospectively during the period.

On the other hand, the other groups seemed not to follow this trend, there was a slight increase in the percentages of people who aged between 51 and 65 or older, from nearly 35 and 33 percent to two-fifths and 35 percent prospectively throughout the period.
