The chart below show the expenditure of two countries on consumer goods in 2010.

The provided color chart illustrates the information on the expenditure of consumer goods in France and the UK during the year of 2010. Here the blue bar represents the spending on consumer goods of France and the orange bar for the UK. In the provided color chart, the X-axis shows the types of consumer goods and the Y-axis represents the pounds sterling spent by France and the UK.

As is observed from chart, both France and the UK had the highest expenditure on cars in 2010. France had the least expenditure on cameras while UK spent the least on perfume.

As is presented in the chart, in 2010, UK spent around 360,000 pounds on cameras, which might not seems high unless it is compared to the expenditure of France in the same items where only 150,000 pounds were spent. UK got a doubled amount on the expenditure on cameras than France. However, France spent just slightly higher, around 5% more, than France on computers. On the other hand, France spent the most, which is around 400,000 pounds, on cars while UK spent the same amount on books.

In conclusion, the market in the UK favored cars, books, cameras and computers and the similar scenario was true for the France excluding cameras.
