The given bar chart gives information about the frequency of consuming junk food at fast food restaurants in America from 2003 to 2013.
As an overall trend, it can be seen that American people tend to fancy eating out at fast food restaurants generally once a week or once or twice a month, while people who visit these types of restaurants every day were the lowest figure among all consumers over the given period.
Regarding the chart, the majority of people dropped by junk food chains once a month accounted for nearly a third in 2013, which had a significant increase from 2006. In contrast, the date of consumers who ate junk food once a week consisted of approximately 28% in the final year, which decreased by about 5% from 2006.
On the other hand, Americans who enjoyed eating fast food at restaurants at least several times a week or a few times a year had some quite similar trends. The former comprised of 20% in 2006, but seven years later had a decline to almost 17%. Meanwhile, the latter stand at precisely 15% in both years. In the meantime, less than only 5% of Americans went to fast food shops daily or never visit there respectively throughout the years, which were the lowest figures.
