The chart below shows how frequently people in the USA ate in fast food restaurants between 2003 and 2013.

The bar chart illustrates how many times Americans ate in fast food restaurant in three given years (2003, 2006, and 2013).

Overall, average 30% of people ate fast food once a week and at least once a month and these two categories accounted for the largest numbers of people. In addition, people who ate fast food several timers a week and a few times a year comprised of average 17% and 14% respectively. People who ate fast food never and every day were the least which was under 5%.

There were more people who ate fast food at least once weekly in 2006 than in 2003 and 2013. On the other hand, the frequency of eating fast food went down slightly in 2006.

Numbers of people who ate fast food a few times a year remained the same percentage which was about 14%. Likewise, the who ate fast food never and every day had approximately the same trend which decreased slowly over the three given years.
