It is clear from the chart that AED government spent over 300 billion of national budget on the nine key sectors. Moreover, a significant percentage of expenditure was spent for social security and social services.
As shown in the information, expenditure on Social Security sector was in a domainant position in the national budget, standing at a staggering value of 100 billion. Likewise, constituting 53 billion, Health and Personal Social Services sector was the second largest budget allocation sector. In stark contrast, transportation saw negligible support from the government, with a mere 9 billions spent on this sector.
Evidently, the rest of budget was distributed on many diverse sectors. While Education comprised 38 billions of the total budget, just a half (17 billion) was spent for Law and Order. In addition, UAE government spent practically identical amount of budget for Defense and Debt interest at about 22 billion. Lastly, the rest of sectors and Other expenditure which was not specified in the chart spent some 13 billions and 23 billions respectively.
