The chart illustrates the internet usage on daily basis by adults of different age groups in the UK between the years 2003 to 2006.
Overall, somewhere fluctuations occurred but throughout the graph upward trend was followed. Internet usage was highest among adults aged 16 to 24, whereas it was least among people age 65 or higher.
The main users of the internet were young adults between the ages of 15 to 24. In 2003 and 2004, they shared the same percentage, which was 80% for each. In 2005 with a significant growth the graph reached the maximum value of a near about 100%, but in upcoming year it faced a minor drop and reached a value of about 90%.
Age group 25 to 44 went from about 50% in 2003 to 80% in 2006, while age group 45 to 64 raised from 60% to 80% from 2003 to 2006. Although age group 55 to 64 and 65 plus suffered minor fluctuations but ended in favor of upward trends.
