At the first glance at the chart, initially, the homeowners' percentage was more than three times as big as the rented accommodation's share. After that, the rental group percentages hit 32% in 1939, and it leveled off until 1953. Afterward, the increasing trend continued, and the rental group rose from 32% to 41% in 1961. At last, both groups hit equality in percentages in 1971. In 1981, rented accommodation's share rise significantly by a margin of one-tenth, and then the house owners percentages experienced a decline in 1991 and reached the lowest point in 2001by a bit more than 30%, and finally, it went up a little bit and hit 35% in 2011.
