Overall, the portion of households who owned their residences increased during the period until the period that most of the citizens bought their own houses.
It is clear that in 1918, the number of people who had owned their houses was about four times bigger than the other group. This amount decrease until 1953 in which 70% of people were accommodating in rental residences and the rest of 30% were living in their owns. The trend continued until 1971 when the two portions became equal in 50%.
The inclination lasted until 2001 and at that time the number of rental houses was less than half of all (about 30%). Finally in 2011 people who possessed their accommodations were more than 60% and the others were about 35%, however, a little declination happened in the last decade.
