The chart shows the rate of two genders teachers in six particular types of educational institutions in the UK in 2010.

It can be observed that the proportions of female academics in educational institutions dominant the proportions of male academics.

According to the given data, nursery, primary and Secondary school have the women’s percentage outnumbered the men’s proportion, especially in Pre-school and primary school, with approximately 98% and 96%. that of men had the lowest numbers, only below 10% of each.

As can be seen from the diagram, particularly in college, men and women were equally represented ,with about 50% of each while in higher-level school most of the teachers were male. In Private training institute, nearly 55% of the teachers were male compared to the female teachers, about 45%. University had the highest percentage of male teacher, nearly tripled the percentage of female teacher.

Overall, there were discrepancies between two genders’ proportions in five educational setting, except the proportion in the college.
