The bar chart illustrates the percentages of residents who had buying and drinking habits in different Australian cities 4 weeks ago. It is noticeable that the most common habit was going to a café for coffee or tea, which stood at just under 64% of people in Melbourne. Next came city residents in Hobart, at about 63%, followed by people in Sydney doing this habit, over 60% of people, which was around 10% higher than that in Adelaide, the lowest one.
Regarding people buying instant coffee, the majority of them, at roughly 53%, belonged to Hobart, whereas the least people in Sydney following this habit, at about 46%. While that figure in Adelaide was the third out of the five cities, at approximately 50%, it was the highest in this city.
In addition, the difference between the figures for residents buying fresh coffee in Sydney, 43%, and Melbourne, 42%, was marginal. There was the same figure for people in Brisbane and Adelaide, which were about 5% of people lower than that in Sydney.
