The chart illustrates the work destinations of undergraduates from Anthropology university and the table reflects the information about salaries of workers in anthropology industry 5 years later graduation from university.
Looking from an overall perspective, we notice that majority of graduates (above a half of respondents) are employed full-time and minority (only 5%) prefers to work part-time to combine employment with postgrad study. Turning to data table, the salaries of Antropology graduates are unevenly distributed: the half of employees in government sector have salaries above 100 thousand dollars.
As can be seen from the chart, 15% of graduates have part-time work, that correlates with proportion of workers in government and freelance sector who get from 50 thousand to almost 75 thousand dollars per month. As many as two-fifth of freelance consultants have their salaries in diapasons from 75 to 99,9 thousand dollars and also more than 100000 dollars.
Regarding the remaining areas of respondents, unemployed graduates comprise 12% of the surveyed and only 8% of undergraduates try to balance postgrad study with full-time employment. The last is almost equal to proportion of private companies’ workers (10%) who get their salaries in quantity of 25 000- 49,999 dollars. In this sector the difference in income distribution is rather moderate, what can be noticeable in the most number of employees with salaries under 75 thousand dollars equals to only 35%.
