Overall, females spend more time on housework than males in most of tasks. However, gardening, pet care and maintenance odd jobs take more time of males than females.
Women use 74 minutes a day to cook, bake and wash up while this number of men is 30 minutes. This figure is lightly higher than time a person spends on cleaning and house tidying with 58 minutes to females and 13 minutes to males. Women are also the main caregivers with 45 minutes a day spend on caring of children and playing with them compare with 20 minutes males offer. Males do not wash, iron and sew clothes as much as females with only 2 minutes a day while females do these work 25 minutes daily.
On the other hand, males also spend an approximately 2-folds higher amount of time on gardening and pet caring with 49,5 minutes a day than females with 21 minutes. Maintenance odd jobs are also taken a lot of time of males with 26 minutes a day compare to only 9,5 minutes of females.
