The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given pictures are the graphical representation of the increasing trend of electrical appliance over the time along with the trend of decreasing the amount of time spent on household chores in one country over the period of 1920 to 2019.

Firstly, as from the graph depicts, there is great increase in use of refrigerators if we compare from 1920 to 2019. Diagram shows that, percentage of households owning refrigerators in 1920 were 0 whereas in 2019 its 100%, implying every common home owns fridge.
Secondly, coming to percentage of families who owns washing machine in 1920 was 40% which got raised to 75% in 2019. And not lastly, numbers of houses owning a vacuum cleaner have also increased sharply. In 1920, percentage of household who are owners of a vacuum cleaner was 30, whereas this umber is 100% in 2019. This implies no one can live without a vacuum cleaner in 2019.

This exponential spike in ownership of electrical appliances directly effect the number of hours people spend in house chores. By use of second graph, we can clearly visualize, how duration of housework of people have reduced from 50 hours per week in 1920 to 10 hours per week in 2019.

Summarizing, technology and electronic have made human life easier and have reduced lot of housework hours. One can utilize this time in pursuing lot of new hobbies and spending some leisure time.
