The charts provided illustrates the level of participation in average years of schooling and science in developed and industrialized countries, in the time frame of 1980 to 1990.
Overall, the figures for both developed and developing countries increased significantly in schooling and scientists. The cost used by the developed countries are remarkably inflated compared to the developing countries.
According to the first chart, in 1980, people in developing nations spent about three years in school and slowly increased to 4 years in 1990. While in the developed countries, the average years of schooling of citizens here were a lot higher than in developing nations, from 8.5 years to 11 years.
Turning to the second chart, the level of participants in science in developing countries saw a slight rise from 10 to 18 people over the period of 10 years. On the contrary, the number of scientists in developed countries considerably jumped from 41 people to nearly 70 people in 1980 and 1990.
Lastly, the final chart shows the citizens in developed nations had a trend that they spent excessive amounts of money on research and development. The funds costs them from 150 billion dollars in 1980 and drastically rose up to 350 billion dollars within 10 years. Compared to developing countries, they suffered a slight fall on funds of 50 billion dollars on research in 1980 and 1990.
