The two graphs, bar graph depicts international Japanese travellers whereas the line graph illustrates proportion of Japanese tourism belonging to Australia.
Overall, it can be observed that Japanese people travelling internationally increased between 1985 to 1995 and the Australian’s part of Japan’s tourism saw a dramatic rise in the 10-year period.
From the year 1985 to 1990, people chose to visit abroad for various purposes from Japan and it went on increasing significantly from 5 million to 11 million people respectively, whereas there was a slight decrease in the number of tourists in the year 1991 which was around 11 million but from 1992 the individuals went on increasing which rose approximately to 15 million in the year 1995 respectively.
After the analysis of the Australian role in Japanese tourism, it was seen that people moving to Australia went on highly increasing until 1988 which ranged around 4.5 %. Suddenly there was a slight decrease in the visitors in 1989, then from 1990 to 1993 there was a surge in Japanese tourists visiting Australia that was around 6.5 million approximately. In 1994, slight decline in Japanese visitors was observed.
