The charts compare the proportion of using water in many ways in six different areas over the world. Overall, it can be seen that agriculture plays a crucial role in most of these areas.
First, water for agriculture use in Asia consumes the most of three other purposes with 88 percent in Central Asia and 81 percent in Southern Asia. Also, Africa sees a high data in this statistic which is 84 percent. Meanwhile in 2 industrial areas such as North America and Europe, agricultural use is only the second highest which respectively figures for 39 and 32 percent compares to 48 and 53 percent
The using of water in domestic purpose is not significant in 3 areas Africa, Central Asia and Southern Asia. All 3 lands only use less than one tenth of the whole water consumption. The highest data for domestic purpose is from South America which account for 19 percent of total water use.
