The pie charts highlight the proportion of water used for industrial, agriculture and domestic work in six continents of the world. The data is calibrated in percentage.

It is vivid that water was majorly used in North America was in industrial area figured as 43% and Europe followed the similar trend being higher than by 10%. Interestingly, almost similar amount of water was used in domestic work in these two areas noted as nearly 15%. Moreover, a small difference of 7% was witnessed in utilisation of water for agriculture in North America(39%) and Europe (32%). Apart from this, about seventy one percent of water enable agriculture in South America and less then by 52% is used in household work. Also, least one in ten percent water was used in industries.

Strolling forth towards agriculture based areas in which water is major source of agriculture, Africa consumes 84% of water for agriculture which was inclined by 4% for Central Asia farmers and abated by 3% for agriculture in South East Asia. However, both Central Asia and South East Asia used similar percentage of water for domestic chores but Africa used similar percentage of water for industries, accounted as 7%. Beside this, Central Asia and South East Asia utilised 5% and 12% of water for industrial area respectively while least percentage of water was used for domestic purpose in Africa.

Overall, agriculture cause the great consumption of water in South America, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia but Europe and North America utilise mostly water for industrial area.
