The statistical pie charts illustrates information about the proportion of water utilisation im major three areas-industrial, agriculture and domestic work in six continents of the world.
The main striking feature of the chart is that largest accountable share of water is used for agriculture in four areas South America, Africa, Central Asia.However, in North America and Europe vast amount of water goes for domestic purpose.
It can be clearly seen that North America and Europe use almost half percentage of water in domestic sector and approximately one-third percentage of water utilised in area. However, major amount of water used for agriculture in South America with 71% and least by industries accounted as 10%. Former continent consume only 15% for domestic and latter continent 10% for industrial.
Moving further, consumption of water in Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia in agricultural sector is 84%, 88% and 81% respectively. The difference of 5% is observed in utilisation of water in South East Asia for industrial and domestic whereas almost similar rate of utilised water for both sectors vivid in Central Asia. The percentile of consumed water in continent Africa is 9% for domestic and 7% for industrial.
