A glance at the bar chart shows a significant proportion of America citizens’ travel demand, which is for workplace movements. We can also see that the price of travel is the most American's concerned issue for public travel.
According to the bar chart in the year of 2009, the commute reason witnesses the highest percent, about 49%, while only 6% is the purpose of visiting friends and relatives. The other factors contribute 45% of the given bar chart, include personal, shopping, social, and recreation activities.
Looking more closely at the pie chart, it is immediately obvious that the problem with the traveling price accounted for a large proportion of 36%, which was about 6 times more than in the space for pedestrians as well as in access to public transport. The percent of the safety concerns, aggressive drivers and highway congestion was roughly similar, 19%, 17%, and 14%, respectively.
