The charts below show the reasons why people travel to work by bicycle or by car.

The pie charts illustrates comparison of why people chose to commute by bicycle or by car. Both the pie graphs scrutinise five various reasons and the units are measured in percentages.

A glimpse over the diagram portray some intriguing patterns. Overall, it is clearly seen that people who are more conscious about health and fitness, and environment safety preferred riding bicycle. Driving car, on the other hand, highly recommended for convenient purpose.

The first pie statistics depict information that the majority (30%) of people ride bikes for the sake of health and fitness. Similarly, the same percentage (just less than a third) of workers utilised it to reduce pollution. Followed by that, a less parking issues were the reason for less than a fifth (15%) of people to use it. Likewise, a quarter percent of people used it as it is faster than driving and No costs (12% and 13%, respectively).

In terms of driving a car to work, two-fifth (40%) of people hugely preferred as it provides comfort rather than bicycle. Whereas, just over one fifth (21%) percent of people used it in a bid to distance to work. Nearly, 28% of people ride a car because it is faster than a cycle and convenient to carry things to work unlike a bicycle. Finally, around 11 percent of working people used car since it is safer than cycling.
