The charts below show the result of a survey of adult education. The first chart shows the reason why adults decide to study. The pie chart shows how people think the costs of adult education should be shared.

This bar chart illustrates the percentage of the adult population and the nine principal factors involved in choosing a subject for higher education. Similarly, the pie chart given gives us a breakdown of the course costs in three main categories.
Overall, most of the people choose higher education because of special interest in a particular subject while least number of students study to meet new people. On the other side, the highest proportion of course fees is paid by individuals themselves.
It can be inferred from the table that almost 40% people opt for a certain subject due to the special liking for them. Falling closely behind, 38% individuals study to achieve higher degrees. Around 20% people think that subject study will help them get promotions and an ability to change jobs. Moreover, similar number of people consider it as an enjoyable activity.
Lastly, only 9% of students think that it is the best way meet new people.
Looking at the fees, almost 40% of costs are paid by individuals themselves. Nearly 35 % is contributed by employers and remaining 25 person comes from the taxes paid by residents of the country.
