The charts below show that UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work after leaving college in 2008. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The two charts reveal the number of graduates and postgraduates who did not engage in full-time work after graduation in UK in 2008. Overall, it is obvious that the number for further study was the largest, whereas that for voluntary work was the minimum no matter for graduates or postgraduates.

For graduate students, the most conspicuous pattern is that most of them chose to involve in further academic learning, accounting 29,665 students. As to part-time jobs and unemployment, they shared similar figures with 17,735 and 16,235 respectively. In contrast, those participating in voluntary jobs only accounted 3,500, which was incredibly less than others.

As to the destination of postgraduate student, the whole amount is much less than that of graduates, but the largest number was still taken up by those continuing study (2,725). Followed by the figure for part-time work (2,535), it was merely 190 less than the top one. However, unemployed postgraduates (1,625) was roughly one tenth of unemployed graduates, and this pattern was also reflected by the amount of voluntary workers (345 postgraduate students).
