The bar graphs illustrate the differences among career choices except for full-time jobs of graduate and postgraduate students after finishing their studies in Britain in 2008.
Overall, it is clear that most students chose to continue to pursue higher education; whereas voluntary work was the field which attracted the fewest graduate and postgraduate ones. Units are measured in numbers of students.
In terms of graduate education, there were 29665 students who decided to study further after leaving school. Then, the number of students had part-time jobs stood at 17735 students, followed by 16235 students did not have any professions. Finally, only 3500 graduate ones participated in voluntary programs.
Meanwhile, the number of postgraduate students studied further was nearly 11 times lower than that of graduate ones. A significant number of students did some part-time jobs, at 2535 students. However, just 1625 students could not find a job; whereas voluntary work recruited 345 students.
