To the northwest, houses were demolished to make way for the science block and the car park, with each covering half of the space. The farmland was transformed into a sports field, creating a new space for students' physical activities.
From 1980 to 2010, the school's main building and the science block were completely intact. The car park was expanded threefold to the south to cater for more car users. As a result, the playground and the sports field had to be narrowed.
