The bar chart shows the literacy rate of males and females in six states of the country in 1990 and 2000.
In that, literacy has increased among both genders in 1990 and 2000. State A showed rise in both males and females that for, 43% to 48% males and 25% to 30% females. State B in females and male literacy were near in 2000 it 84% and 85%. State C in the males literacy were highest compared to other states in graph rise was 70% to 78%. After that, state D figure were 60% to 65% for males and 30% to 42% for females for the year 1990 and 2000. State E in the females growth is higher 70% to 78% while, males growth 83% in 2000 compared to 78% in 1990. State F also showed growth in both ganders. Figures stood at 58% for males and 35% for females in 2000 respectively.
