The diagram illustrates the complete process of leather items manufacturing.

Overall it can be seen that there are ten various steps involved in the production of leather goods from raw material to the final product.

First of all, The animal skin is dried in a natural way and once the skin is dried it gets loaded into the trucks and transported to the factory for further processing. Once the delivered to the factory the raw leather is washed in a solution mixed with water and lime, After that the leather is soaked into another solution called Tannin which is made of water and vegetable matter. Then comes the Flattening process in which the wet leather is passed through rollers with pressure and ultimately makes it completely flat and smooth; and the flat lather soaked into the lime solution one more time.

Further, The smooth leather is polished with a specialized machine, The polished leather is then stacked into transport vehicles and forwarded to another manufacturing unit where the final product like footwear, handbag, ball, etc is made.
