The diagram illustrates the phases and materials used in the production of cement and how it is being used in the manufacturing of concrete to build buildings.

Overall, both the processes consists number of steps which all are mandatory in order to produce cement and concrete for housing purposes.

With regards to cement production, first and foremost step is limestone and clay got crushed in the crusher to transform it into powder form. Then, the obtained powder moved into the mixer and got mixed. Afterwards, the mixture of two components moved into rotating heater in which the mixture rotated while external heat is applied. In the last step resulted mixture grinded with the help of grinder and the fine grinded cement got ready for packaging into the bags.

In order to manufacture concrete, three components along with the cement made earlier is needed. Water (10%), less than a fifth of cement, a quarter of sand, 50% of small stones (gravel) got mixed in a concrete mixer. The resultant mixture would be considered as concrete.
