The diagram below depicts the electricity generation using geothermal energy. Overall, it is noticeable that the process is divided into 5 steps, which starts from using cold water to transmitting electricity to the National Grid.
In detail, the first step begins with storing cold water in the reservoir that is located above the ground. Next, the cold water is being pumped 4.5 km under the ground. After being pumped down, the second step involves injecting the cold water well into Hot Rocks called Geothermal Zone, where the cold water then turns into hot water. Following the second step is the third step where the Hot Water is well produced before being pumped up with the same height with when it was pumped down.
Then the fourth step is marked with Hot Water which finally enters Condenser. The Condenser then produces Steam which will then moves through the turbine cabin. Next, the fifth step begins with the steam which rotates the Turbine. The turbine then powers the Generator to produce electricity, before finally being transferred to the National Grid.
