The diagram below shows what happens to pollutants from farming and industry once in a river system

The diagram illustrates the process how pollutans are infecting water from farming and industry to river and ocean. There are two kind of pollutans to affect the water, nitrogen from feltilisers and heavy metals from industry.
To begin, two kind of chemical pollutans are absorbed by river plants. Heavy metals are floating in air and blowing anywhere then stick on the leaf of river plants so these river leaf receive heavy metals from the air. Meanwhile, nitrogen pollution came from fetilisers process on farming and surface of river bed is absorbing these nitrogen. In addition, these two process are namely nitrogen fixation.
Following this, the river is polluted by the mixture of nitrogen and heavy metal. Then it flows faster into the ocean where it is the end of water cycle in a river. The result is the ocean also polluted by nitrogen and heavy metals then may affect to non-hygienic rain fall namely rain acid that cause many kind of diseases spread widely.
