Overall, the are fourteen stages and the process begins with picking the fruit and it ends with despatching by trucks. Most states in the process are done by machine, although the picking and quality control are done by hand.
Initially, the fruit like a pear is picked by hand and transported by truck to start the canning process. In the first stage in the factory, the fruit is washed and then it is checked by Quality Supervisors. Next the fruit is stored at a cool temperature. Then the fruit is weighed and peeled. After that, it is cored and sliced in smaller pieces and then they are canned. Subsequently, the cans are sealed by automatic arms. In the next stage, the cans are cooked and sterilised through a special heating process and then the cans are labelled. Next they are stored for despatching by the trucks to distributors and markets.
