The diagrams below show the changes that have taken place at Queen Mary Hospital since its construction in 1960.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The three diagrams compare the innovation in Queen Mary Hospital’s construction size over the past forty years in three milestones 1960, 1980 and 2000.

Overall, the facilities for medical and healthcare services have been increased rapidly over three periods.

We can see that in 1960, on Main Road, Queen Mary Hospital had only one block, accounting for a quarter of the plot and the rest of land area were Shopping Center, Farmland and Parking Lot. But by 1980, the size of whole Queen Mary had changed much. There was Cancer Center, Pharmacy and Nursing School, with the Hospital’s and Nursing School’s as two of the three largest areas on Main Road. In addition, the Shopping Center and Cultivated Land have been fully exploited for health development. It is worth mentioning that in 2000, the Cancer Center became the largest block of whole area and the area of the Nursing School and the Car Park was also narrowed while the area of the Hospital and Pharmacy remained the same.
