The two pie charts contain energy data consuming by Australian household as well as the percentage of greenhouse gas emissions caused by energy using.
Overall, inhabitants in Australia expense a large amount of energy in heating water which comes along with high greenhouse gas emissions. For cooling purpose, the data accounting for a very tiny level of the whole figures.
In the first chart, the percentage of energy using for heating application is by far the most prominent one, at just nearly 50%. To a lesser extent, water heating is another main purpose of energy consuming, with 30%. Other appliances is reported just a half of water heating figures. The remainders play a very small-scale figures, consuming just 13% collectively.
For the greenhouse gas emissions, water heating and other appliances are the main factors, causing 32% and 28% of gas amount respectively. The percentage of greenhouse gas resulted from heating and refrigeration are generally the same, approximately 15%. Cooling and lighting purposes is largely insignificant, leading 11% of emissions in total.
