In general, it can be seen that both males and females spend most time cooking and cleaning their houses, house repairs account for the lowest figure. Females take responsibility for cooking 25% more than men do, at 85% and 60% respectively, and both are the highest figures in each chart. Three times the percentage males spend on cleaning is as much as taking care of pets and repairing their houses. The proportion of women cleaning houses is over 60% in comparison to 20% of pet care chores. House repairs make up the lowest figure on the females’ chart.
Men spend an hour daily on cooking and 45 minutes on house cleaning. The number of time males spends on pet care, and house repairs do not exceed 20 minutes per day. Women spend most of their time cooking, about 85 minutes, whereas the converse holds for house repairs, only 5 minutes every day. About an hour is spent on cleaning work by women, which is around three times as much as pet care chores.
