The flow chart below shows the procedure to get a driving license in the US. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram gives information about the steps that must be taken to obtain a driving license in the US.
Generally speaking, the whole process is divided into three parts, which starts by going to the driving license center to take three different kinds of test. US people have to pass all these examinations before officially holding the license.
Regarding the first phase, after arriving at the license center, all candidates have to fill in the forms; then they must have their eyesight checked carefully. People who are not qualified will gain no license.
Only those who pass the vision test are permitted to the next stage which involves paying fees to take the writing test. Each applicant has two chances to retake this test in case they fail; otherwise, they have to spend more money to do it again.
Just by passing the written examination can the person proceed to the final practical test, which is driving the vehicle on the road. This time, candidates have solely one opportunity to perform it; failure even at the first try means that more fees has to be paid. Upon succeeding this step, ultimately, the person will obtain the official driving license.
