An investigation of the migration to the UK between 200 and 2008 was illustrated on a graph and a piechart. Figures are registered for different periods of time and reasons for migration to the UK (2000).
At first glance, it is readily seeable that the longest intended length of accommodating was up to 2 years. Along with that was the most favored reason for migration, stated working purpose.
Accordingly, in comparison to 5000 people stayed from 2 to 4 years and 52000 people settled 4 years onwards, 60000 immigrants chose to swell in the UK for up to 2 years at the beginning of the recorded time. 4-year-and-more migrants experienced rough oscillation during the course of time. Finally, their number remained unchanged. Meanwhile, 2-to-4-year migrants' pattern reached a plateau and encountered diminishment to approximately 40000. Unlike the other trends, the former line witnessed an overwhelming ascent and grew sixfold in 2008.
Furthermore, myriads of reasons for people to relocate to the UK were presented in the pie chart. The mostly accounted reason was working with a unique proportion of 38%.
