Overall,while London and New York experience almost the same temperatures throughout the year, the opposite trend is true for Sydney. The greatest number of hours of sunshine is seen in New York.
New York is the city which experiences the highest and lowest temperatures during the whole year. More specifically, it has the coldest temperature at the beginning of the year with about 4° and then becomes warmer month after month. Coming to July, the city sees the hottest month which almost 30°. Subsequently, this figure starts to decrease and remains the same lowest temperature (5°) at the end of the year.
Similarly, in London the coldest temperature is in January and December with just below 10°and the hottest temperature (23°) is had on July. Interestingly, annual number of hours of sunshine in London is 1,180 which is nowhere near as New York with 2,535.
By contrast, turning to Sydney, the temperature starts to decline from January to July and reaches the lowest point with just above 15° and rising back at the end of the year. Sydney is the second most sunny city with 2,473 compared to London and New York.
