Summaries the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The line chart illustrates the amount of carbon dioxide that each person in four countries, united kingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal produced from 1967 to 2007.
Overall, it is noticeable that italian and Portugal people's average carbon dioxide emissions rose gradually in these 40 years, whereas those of united kingdom and Sweden decreased, especially there was a sudden decline in the number of co2 production by people in Sweden since 1977.
As can be seen obviously, the quantity of co2 wastes of Portugal increased significantly from under 2 metric tonnes (mt) to nearly 6 mt in the first 30 years, which then kept instant at about above 5 mt until 2007. In the same manner, italian's average carbon dioxide production, which was 2 mt more than Portugal people's, went up suddenly from more than 4 mt in the initial year to over 6 mt 10 years later, then slowed the speeding of development of co2 emissions before stopping rising in 1997, at the approximate of 8 mt.
Conversely, although Sweden rose in the number of average co2 wastes per person from 1967 to 1977, it then dropped significantly from 10 mt to under 6 mt in 2007, which was nearly 5 mt less than it used to in the first year. In comparison to the previous country, united kingdom declined slightly without any changes for the rest of the years, at about 11 mt back to nearly 9 mt 40 years later.
