The given line graph gives information about the trend of Chinese' food consumption: Meat, salt and fish per week from 1985 to 2010.
As an overall trend, it can be seen that Chinese people prefer to eat fish the most over the given period while consuming salt has decreased significantly.
In 1985, the having fish accounted for almost 600 grams(g), and five years later, it rose by 100g, however, went back to the same level like the beginning of the year in 1995. Following that, there was an upwards trend consistently, reaching approximately 850g, which was the highest. Contrarily, the second largest food consumption was salt at the beginning of the period, but since then its figure continued to decline dramatically to about 200g in 2010.
In the meanwhile, the least popular food consumption among given categories was meat throughout the years. Meat consumption started from only 100g in 1985, and it showed a gradual increase to 200g in 2005. Since then, its data had remained stable, reaching the same figure of consumption of salt by Chinese in the final year.
