The graph illustrates how much fish and different types of meat were consumed weekly in a European nation from 1979 to 2004.
Overall, while the number of gram of chicken eaten increased gradually, that of lamb and beef experienced downward trends over the given period. In addition, the amount of fish reamined unchanged. It is also clear that the consumption of beef was the highest out of four from 1979 to 1994, which was surpassedby that of chicken between 1999 and 2004.
In 1979, the amount of beef consumed atood at roughly 225 gram, 150 gram higher than that of fish. Five year later, ater decreasing sharply at around 175 gram, the former grew to nearly 200 in 1989. Meanwhile, the later remained unchanged roughly 60 gram from 1979 to 2004. There was a moderate fall by about 75 gram in the consumption of beef within 15 years from 1989.
In 1979, the numbers of gram of lamb and chicken eaten was at about 150 gram. An opposite partern can be seen in these figure. While the amount of chicken consumed underwent moderate growth to around 250 gram, that of chicken declined significantly to 75 gram.
