Overall, while the sum of visitors on the Caribbean island increased significantly throughout this period, there were downward trends in the numbers of visitors staying on cruise ships and island in the 2011-2012 and 2015-2016 periods respectively.
It is noticeable that after staying constant at around 0.75 million visitors in 2011, the figure for vacationers on island grew considerably by nearly 0.75 million people.
