The graph shows changing patterns of domestic access to modern technology in homes in the UK.
Generally it just has upward trend between 1996 and 2003 in each four domestic access technologies with different varieties.
The highest percentage of access is belonging to CD players. It began in sixty percent in 1996/97 then increased gradually and reached a peak in 2002/03.
Both home computers and internet access rose steadily in eight years but there is an obvious difference between these that is about the second one which did not have any domestic access until 1998/99.
Furthermore the access of mobile phones went up dramatically from almost twenty five percent in 1996/97 to approximately sixty five percent in 2002/03 although it fluctuated between 1998/99 and 2000/03 years.
Overall, as a result CD players are the most favorable domestic technology from 1996 until now in the UK’s homes and also more than half of the numbers of people in the UK use mobile phones as a modern technology.
