The graph shows the average rainfall in some country in the year 2004. It can be clearly seen that the rainfall in the months of July and October has the highest rainfall with an average of 60 and 65 mm respectively.

According to the graph, among the first six months of the year 2004, the months of January, May, and June have a steady trend with an average rainfall of 50 mm approximately. Whereas, the month of February has been recorded the lowest rainfall(38 mm) of the year. And, April has the average rainfall of 42 mm is followed with a slight decline of 2 mm the month of March.

In the contrast, the following six months of the year 2004 have shown a remarkable upward trend in the context of average rainfall as compared to the first six months. So, the peak of rainfall also falls in the month of October with an average of 65 mm. Moreover, the months of July and august have almost the same and highest average rainfall of 58 mm followed by October only. Whereas, September has shown the lowest rainfall ( 48 mm) in the second half of 2004. Furthermore, there has been seen a declining trend in November and December after a recorded peak in October. As the average rainfall in the month of November and December are 53 and 50 mm respectively.

To recapitulate, the first half has shown the lower rainfall average than the second half of the year 2004.
