The two line graphs given depict the changes in trends in urban and rural populations as well as in different age groups from 1950 to 2020 and provide predictions for the year 2040.
It is clear that the population proportion in these two areas appears to have continued to increase during the year surveyed. Furthermore, the proportion of people aged 15 to 65 is the highest among other age groups.
When it comes to urban and rural population trends, the total number is up from 11% in 1950 and is expected to reach 43% by 2040. Meanwhile, the population living in rural areas is not compared to the city at a rate of about 4% to 6% in the first 70 years. This number may have increased by 1% over the year.
Regarding the age structure trend, the proportion of people aged 15 to 65 increased continuously from 7% to 33% in the first 70 years, however, in 2040 it seems that a milder accumulation will be recorded at 35 %. It is noted that the 5% increase in the proportion of people under 15 years of age is inversely proportional to the 2% decrease in people over 65 years of age in 1960 despite sharing a similar starting point of 3%. The opposite part has been observed over the next 10 years as they surpass approximately 8% and are also predicted to grow up 6% in 2040.
